Prayers on the Wall
"My heart is broken for my husband, who now has Alzheimer’s. Throughout his life, he was active, hardworking, and talented. He was truly a jack of all trades, approaching everything he did with excellence and skill. One of the most difficult moments came when he woke up one morning, frightened and in tears, and told me he was lost and didn’t know where he was. I cannot fully describe the emotions that overwhelmed me as I held him and reassured him that he wasn’t lost—he was home. His short-term memory has been gone for several years now, and we often find ourselves repeating the same things to him again and again. I would greatly appreciate your prayers, not only for him but also for me—that our Heavenly Father would grant me the grace to be more patient, loving, and kind as I care for him each day. "

From Our Ministry
Lord, wrap Your loving arms around this husband today. When memories fade, let Your presence remain clear. When confusion comes, let peace take its place. Remind them they are still Your beloved child — whole, valued, and deeply loved. Give strength to their spirit and rest to their heart. Wrap Your arms around this devoted wife as she walks this difficult road beside her husband. Give her strength when she feels weary, patience when the days are long, and peace when her heart aches. Remind her that her love is a reflection of Yours—steadfast, enduring, and full of grace. Let her know she is seen, valued, and never alone. Amen.
