Webster’s Dictionary tells us that “Faith is unquestioning belief that does not require proof or evidence.”

Who has faith?  Would you be surprised to find that everyone has faith ...... in something?  When you fly in an airplane you exhibit faith in the capabilities of both the aircraft and the pilot, (also in the laws of physics), that you will arrive safely.

When you dine in a restaurant you have faith in the chef that none of the ingredients is poisonous. When you cross the street at an intersection, and have a green light, you have faith that the oncoming drivers will stop for their red light.

Society’s faith is a result of conditioning.  Favorable statistics lead us to believe that nothing really bad will happen to us.  There are endless examples of people’s quirks of faith - many of which are illogical!

When you think about it - how often do you place your faith in someone you have never even met?  Someone you do not know, nor do they know you.  Does it not make more sense to place your faith in someone who knows you, who loves you, and, is infallible?

The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11, that faith is the evidence of things not seen.  How does it come to us?  Romans 10:17 tells us that “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”  If you pray and study the Bible and hear the word of God, the Holy Spirit will aid your understanding.  God wants you to know the truth and be a part of His family.

Think about it - doesn’t it make sense to you to place your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave His life on a cross to pay the awful penalty for the sins of all who believe in His name?  You NEED to place your faith in the One Who can GUARANTEE that good things are in your future .........for ETERNITY !
